About Me

I am a lawyer and notary public servicing London, Toronto, and the surrounding areas. My practice is dedicated primarily to preparing wills and powers of attorney. I am a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

I was born and raised in London, and have lived in Ottawa, Toronto, and the United Kingdom. I received a B.A. from Western University, with a major in political science and a minor in philosophy. My desire to help those in need led me to pursue a law degree at the University of Kent in Canterbury, United Kingdom. After completing my LL.B., I participated in the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University, where I worked with a criminal defence lawyer and discovered my passion for advocacy. I was called to the Ontario bar in 2015.

After my call to the bar, I opened my own criminal law practice in Toronto. As with many areas of law, my practice overlapped with estate planning when clients began requesting assistance to prepare estate documents to plan for their future. Since 2022, my practice has focused primarily on drafting wills and powers of attorney.

In my free time, I volunteer with the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program, Catholic Crosscultural Services, where I assist those seeking to privately sponsor refugees who fled their homes due to war or to avoid persecution based on their identity or beliefs.

When I am not working, I enjoy cooking and entertaining friends and family at my home, and spending time outdoors with my partner, Ian, and our two-year-old German Shepherd mix.
